Today our Proven wind turbine was finally commissioned and started generating electricity. The turbine is a 6Kw Proven, wind to heat system. The turbine provides all the lighting within the Steadings along with a circuit which runs via the battery bank so we can still operate when the mains power fails. In addition, it also powers three 2Kw wall heaters which heat the function and tea room.
